As an ECI Chrysalis Board, we had made some final decisions with the Richmond Chrysalis Board that we will be having our Chrysalis flights at Mt. Summit Christian Church. We very much appreciate the church congregation and Pastor Mark O'Brien for opening the church doors for us to do this.
One reason we decided to step out of our comfort zone with Shiloh Park and explore other opportunities is so youth may be reached in a broader aspect. The Boards' action to combine the Flights together not only will we be touching Richmond and our area youth will be also be touching Greensburg and New Castle and other areas throughout eastern Indiana.
Another benefit of moving the Flights to the Mt. Summit Christian Church is the cost savings that will make the Flights more afordable for both Caterpillars and team members. Since the Board made a decision on this, the dates of the girls flight has changed, it will be July 18th-20th, the boys flight will remain the same time, Labor Day weekend.
As we go into this new adventure and we are very excited about it, we ask the community to keep us in your prayers as both Chrysalis boards come together to work out all the details and plans that our Heavenly Father has put in front of us.
